The word Reiki integrates two characteristics:
Rei - Universal, cosmic energy, source of life
Ki - Personal life force energy or vitality; the fundamental life force flowing and pulsating in all living things (chi or prana)
Reiki is a Japanese word used to describe universal life force energy. It is a healing art originally known as Usui Reiki Ryoho or Usui Reiki discovered by Dr Mikao Usui in the 19th century.
Reiki has no connection to religion, it simply requires a willingness to receive and experience the healing energy available to us.
For you the clients, I connect with Reiki energy through meditation, symbols, and mantras, along with the intention for healing for the recipients highest well-being prior to starting Reiki.
The process initiates a visceral connection with Reiki energy which flows through the palms of the hands supported by intuitive guidance.
Recipients are fully clothed during the Reiki process and may prefer to be lying down or seated when receiving Reiki.
Reiki has been known for the following benefits:
Supporting the body's own natural resources
Strengthening the immune system
Ease muscle tension
Sense of Peacefulness
Generally, I offer 60minutes of Reiki at a time. However, I am flexible. We can work together to tailor to your needs. The number of sessions required is based on your own experience of Reiki and your requirement.
Distance Reiki is also available for clients wishing to receive Reiki in the comforts of their own home.
I believe Reiki is another form of self-care. It gives us the permission to take time for ourselves to rejuvenate, and heal from the stresses of everyday life.
Main modality is Usui Reiki Ryoho. Although, I also offer Reiki and Seichem healing with Violet Flame embracing the elements of air, water and fire.
I work within a code of ethics for safety and good practice, and I am UK Reiki Federation member.

Disclaimer: Reiki is not a replacement for medical treatment. Reiki is perhaps seen as an enhancer which can also be used to compliment other forms of treatments.
